    En nuestro afán de conocer la realidad sanitaria de Cáceres, hemos realizado un estudio del Boletín Oficial de la Provincia que abarca el periodo comprendido entre 1833 a 1840.

    En los diferentes puntos de nuestra clasificación se muestran las noticias más interesantes del ámbito sanitario. Destacamos como resultados las refe- rencias de la epidemia de cólera en la región, la creación del Hospital Civil y del Hospicio de la ciudad, los problemas de los Ayuntamientos para facilitar facultativos a la población y la introducción del uso de vacunas en el territorio.

    Se refleja también la importancia de la sanidad militar en el periodo de estudio y la propuesta por parte del Gobierno Central de modificar el Registro Civil.

    In our desire of knowing the sanitary reality of Cáceres have carried out a study of the Official Bulletin of the County embracing the period included among 1833 at 1840.

    In the different points of our classification the most interesting news in the sanitary scope are shown. We detail as results the references of the epidemic of Cholera in the region, the creation of the civil Hospital and of the Hospice of the city, the problems of the City councils to facilitate medical to the population and the introduction of the use of vaccine in the territory. It is also reflected the importance of the military sanity in the period of study and the proposal on the part of the Central Government of modifying the Civil Registration.
