Resumen de The liquid rope trick.

Neil M. Ribe, Mehdi Habibi, Daniel Bonn

  • The article examines research by the authors into the dynamics of viscous fluids, specifically the complexity of the liquid rope-coil effect formed by streams onto a surface. The team's experiments with silicone oils are outlined, and four coiling styles as well as other actions like stagnation flow, rotary folding, and spiral bubble waves are identified. Further work on liquid ropes is suggested.
