Práticas alimentares como narrativa da interação cultural no turismo rural

    O turismo rural promove interações entre sujeitos rurais e turistas, mudando a cultura local e a vida cotidiana, especialmente em termos de hábitos e práticas alimentares. Este artigo pretende refletir sobre as práticas alimentares de uma família rural, proprietária de uma fazenda no sul do Brasil e suas implicações nos estilos de vida dessas pessoas. Metodologicamente associado à etnografia, foram realizadas entrevistas em 2008 a 2015, com a família proprietária. Os discursos dos sujeitos reconstituem a história e a trajetória alimentar da família, emergindo de suas falas as categorias "comida nossa" (patrimônio familiar); "comida turística" e "comida da cidade". Os resultados indicam que o turismo rural possibilitou a manutenção da família na propriedade, mas provocou mudanças em seus modos de vida e em suas práticas alimentares, em um processo dialético que envolve não só a presença do turista, mas também mudanças em modos de produção agrícola, modernização e industrialização do campo, e a urbanização. Verificamos que os moradores da propriedade compreendem muitos pratos como patrimônio familiar, mas, também, que a relação com o turismo trouxe novas práticas.

    Rural tourism promotes interactions between rural subjects and tourists, changing local culture and everyday life, especially in terms of food. This paper aims to reflect on the feeding practices of a rural family, owner of a farmhouse inn in the South of Brazil , and its implications on the lifestyles of these persons. Methodologically the research was associated with ethnography and interviews carried out from 2008 to 2015, with the owner's family. The subjects' speeches reconstitute the history and the alimentary trajectory of the family, emerging from their speeches the categories "our food" (family patrimony); "tourist food" and "city food". The results indicate that rural tourism made possible the maintenance of the family in the property, but it caused changes in their ways of life and in their alimentary practices, in a dialectic process that involve not only the presence of the tourist , but also changes in modes of agricultural production, modernization and industrialization of the countryside and urbanization. We verify that the residents in the property understand many dishes as family patrimony, but also that the relationship with tourism has brought new practices.
