El presente texto pretende meditar sobre la actualidad filosófica y política de la obra Utopía de Tomás Moro. El artículo se desarrollará en tres aspectos centrales: el carácter de su pensamiento, la importancia de la ciudad y la centralidad del trabajo. El artículo también pretender ser un breve homenaje a los quinientos años de aparición del libro.

This article is an attempt to reflect on the political and philosophical relevance of the work Utopia by Thomas More. The article will be developed in three central aspects: the character of his thought, the importance of the city, and the centrality of labour. The article also attempts to provide a brief homage in honour of the 500 years since the book’s publication.
