  • De Lange interviews molecular biologist Emmanuelle Charpentier about whether there should be a moratorium on editing human embryos now that CRISPR has arrived. Charpentier tells how people decide how to use this technology and whether there's ever a case for germline editing--altering DNA that can be inherited. She also shares what she hopes will have come out of her research in 10 years
