  • The article discusses the remains of a migrant found on the Mexican-American Border Region later discovered to be Maria Albertina Iraheta Guardado. The authors comment on the social conditions of Mexico including gang violence and drug trafficking. The excavation in Brooks County, Texas lead by biological anthropologist Kate Spradley and forensic anthropology are explored.
