  • The author maintains the underlying idea behind the Paleo diet is false and considers opposition to genetically-modified (GM) foods. He observes that genetic modification has been ongoing for thousands of years by means of selective plant breeding. In his view a theory from anthropologist Alan FIske helps explain why some people are opposed to GM foods, which he believes are sound, nutritional, and moral.
