  • The article discusses bioelectronic medicine, a treatment method that involves harnessing the body's natural reflexes to target disease. Central to the approach is the stimulation of neurotransmitters by means of a signal sent down a nerve by an electronic device. In his own research the author has treated inflammation by targeting tumor necrosis factor.
