  • The article looks at the Daya Bay Reactor Neutrino Experiment in Guangdong province, China, discussing research there published in the journal "Physical Review Letters" in October 2014 on the search for sterile neutrinos, or neutrinos with almost no interactions with other particles. It notes that the existence of sterile neutrinos has been theorized by physicists and that if they exist, they would form part of dark matter.
