The article discusses the differences in attitudes between U.S. and Vietnamese doctors on the impact that the U.S.'s use of the chemical defoliate Agent Orange and the herbicide contaminant TCDD in the Vietnam war has on creating birth defects in Vietnamese children. An overview of genetic damage and disorders caused by Agent Orange passed through generations is provided.
