The authors offer their perspective on the role that International Linear Collider (ILC) in the Kitakami region of Japan will play in the potential creation of what are referred to as superpartner particles, comparing it with the Large Hadron Collider's (LHC's) discovery of the Higgs boson. An overview of superpartners, including Higgisinos, squarks (superpartners of quarks) and sleptons, is provided.
