  • The article discusses artificial intelligence (AI) and the machine learning known as deep learning, referencing the history of AI from the 1950s through the mid 2010s and the algorithms used in deep learning. The use of artificial neural networks in deep learning, including in regard to training a neural network to recognize faces and patterns in static images, is discussed.
