  • Resumen
    • The article focuses on two lines of research to determine how long neutrons can exist outside the nucleus of atoms before they decay into other particles. It states that when neutrons suffers beta decay, they split into a proton, an electron, and an antineutrino. It mentions two methods of timing neutron decay and reasons why the two methods fail to provide the same results, including the possibility of neutrons turning into mirror neutrons that contribute to the amount of dark matter in the universe.
