Resumen de Inclusión social y educación secundaria: breve estado de la cuestión

La pregunta que sostiene el artículo es: ¿qué implica hablar de inclusión social en el nivel de educación secundario? Pregunta que intenta responder prestando especial atención a las características de las estructuras organizacionales, entendiendo que cada política educativa plantea una relación diferente con los procesos de gestión educativa, traduciéndose en sus estructuras organizacionales.
En primera instancia, se realiza un recorrido por las distintas configuraciones de las estructuras organizacionales en el nivel secundario a lo largo de la historia, desde los inicios del sistema educativo argentino hasta la actualidad.
En segunda instancia, se reconstruyen los principales debates sobre los tópicos claves en relación al tema de la escuela secundaria, tales como la diversidad de los perfiles socio- culturales de los jóvenes y adolescentes que asisten al nivel, los fines de la formación de nivel secundario, las estrategias pedagógicas y estructuras institucionales para acompañar los procesos de inclusión social, entre otros.
Finalmente, las conclusiones ofrecen algunas implicancias para la investigación, la gestión y las políticas públicas educativas.

The question of the article is: what does it mean to promote the social inclusion in the secondary level? The article try to answer this question with special focus on the characteristics of the organizational structures, because it is considered that each educational policy raises a different relationship with the processes of educational management, and this relationship translating into their organizational structures. In first instance, it is developed a description about the various configurations of the organizational structures at the secondary level throughout history, from the beginning of the Argentine education system until now. Secondly, it is reconstructed the major debates on key topics about secondary school, such as the diversity of socio-cultural profiles of young and adolescent who attend the secondary level; the proposals offered by the institutions; the teaching strategies and the institutional structures to accompany the processes of social inclusion, among others. Finally, the findings try to show some implications for research, management and educational policies.
