  • The article discusses the virtual model created by the Global Human Body Models Consortium (GHBMC) for the improvement of the safety features of vehicles. Topics discussed include the collision data collected by the OnStar telematics system in the vehicles of the automaker General Motors in the event of a crash, the different mechanical properties of the prepubescent body, and the view of research scientist Jingwen Hu concerning the GHBMC.
