  • The article examines the life and work of the artist David Haxton. Particular focus is given to his short art films, including the 1977 film "Cubes," the 1974-75 film "Overlapping Planes," and the 1970 film "Bringing Lights Forward." Additional topics discussed include how his work relates to that of the artist Donald Judd, his artistic techniques and Haxton's training as a painter.
