  • The article examines the work of the artist Martin Wong. Particular focus is given to how his paintings depict his home and neighborhood in New York City. Additional topics discussed include how Wong died of AIDS in 1998, his exhibition "Martin Wong: Human Instamatic" at the Bronx Museum of the Arts in the Bronx, New York City, through February 14, 2016, and his use of text in his art.
