  • In this article, the author talks about disappearance of towering signs in Las Vegas, Nevada, that were present in 1960s It mentions that the signs offered an ecstasy of neon with transient sheaths of fibrillating light that gave seductive messages for their place of choice. It informs that signs have been replaced by pirate ships with guns flashing on the artificial lake in front of the Treasure Island Hotel.
