The article examines the work of the contemporary artist Miguel Ángel Ríos. Particular focus is given to his work in video art. Additional topics discussed include his installation artwork "Landlocked," his work in drawing, photography and other media and his work remaking the film "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre," by the director John Huston.
