  • The article reports on the loss of a large collection of artwork by the 20th-century Brazilian artist Hélio Oiticica in a fire on October 16, 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Details are given citing the damage caused by an accidental fire at the artists' family residence and the efforts by the Brazilian Institute of Museums to restore the surviving works.
