  • The article discusses the 28th São Paulo Biennial art exhibition and its decision to hold the event without any art exhibitions. The article describes how financial and administrative difficulties have forced the exhibition to reexamine how Brazilian artwork can be better displayed. Curatorial director Ivo Mesquita's management of the exhibition is discussed.
