  • The article discusses the work of street artist Shepard Fairey and his influence on contemporary art movements. The article describes Fairey's role in creating the iconic "Obama Hope" poster depicting U.S. president Barack Obama during his presidential campaign. Also discussed is Fairey's role in developing the deviant art movement, his exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Massachusetts, and his depiction of the pro wrestler André the Giant.
