  • The article discusses Chinese artist Ai Weiwei. The author explains how Weiwei's works concerning Internet censorship and the victims of the Sichuan, China earthquake have drawn coverage from media all over the globe. Subjects of the article also include the social dimension of his work, secret police surveillance of Weiwei, and Weiwei's activist efforts. His exhibition at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo, Japan is also discussed.
