The article examines the life and work of the contemporary artist Rachel Rose. Particular focus is given to her work in video art. Additional topics discussed include her depictions of the architect Philip Johnson in her work, how her work explores humanity's changing relationship to the natural world and her studies in art history at the Courtauld Institute in London, England.
