  • In this article, the author, artist Simon Hantaï, offers a reflection on a photograph of himself and his father, Daniel Hantaï, from 1956, dealing with topics including his father's work in painting, abstract painting in the mid-20th century and Simon Hantaï's exhibition "Pliage: The First Decade" at the Mnuchin Gallery in New York City through June 26, 2015.
