  • This article discusses the proposed development of a new gallery building for Sperone Westwater in the Bowery neighborhood of New York City. This building, designed by Foster + Partners, will be eight stories tall. The economic issues surrounding the expansion of space during the 2008 recession, which many predict will last through 2009, are assessed.
