  • The article examines four artists whose work explores life outside of conventional society including Justine Kurland, Seth Price and Alec Soth. Particular focus is given to how the work of these artists reflects the themes of individual liberty and social dissatisfaction. The book "How to Disappear in America," by Seth Price is also noted.
