  • The article examines the life and work of the British contemporary artist Phil Collins. Particular focus is given to how his installation artworks, videos and performances explore the effects of mass media on society and the private lives of individuals. Several exhibitions featuring Collins' work are also noted including "Phil Collins" at the Tanya Bonakdar Gallery in New York City, through October 19, 2013, and "In every dream home a heartache," at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne, Germany, from April 18th through July 21, 2013.
