  • The article examines the life and work of the Chinese contemporary artist Lin Tianmiao. Topics discussed include her use of textiles in her work, how her work deals with feminine themes and how the death of her mother has influenced her work. The exhibition "Bound Unbound: Lin Tianmiao," to be held at the Asia Society in New York City, through January 27, 2013, is also noted.
