  • In this article, the author offers a personal narrative in which he reflects upon a photograph of him and the art dealer Leo Castelli from 1985, dealing with topics including the AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) crisis in New York City in the 1980s, the work of the artist Robert Gober and the artist Keith Haring.
