  • The article examines various issues relating to the 2014 digital simulation and installation artwork "Solar Reserve (Tonopah, Nevada)," by the artist John Gerrard. Particular focus is given to how the artwork was presented at Lincoln Center in New York City on October 2, 2014. Additional topics discussed include public sculpture in the 21st-century, how the work is similar to light artworks by the artist Jenny Holzer, and insights on Gerrard's artistic processes and history.
