Richard Koshalek has been appointed director of the Smithsonian Institution's Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. Adam Lerner has been appointed director of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, Colorado. Krista A. Thompson has won the 2009 David C. Driskell Prize in African American art and art history.
