The article presents a profile and discusses the work of the Cambodian artist Sopheap Pich. Particular focus is paid to the artist's series of sculptures and grid reliefs made from bamboo and rattan, works through which he addresses his country's conflicted political and social situation. Individual works pictured and discussed include "Compound" and "Morning Glory."
