  • The article discusses "Portrait of George (Moscone)," a ceramic portrait bust by the artist Robert Arneson of the murdered mayor of San Francisco, California, George Moscone. Created in 1981, the work evokes the dual murder of Moscone and city supervisor Harvey Milk at the hands of the local politician Dan White. The sculpture now forms part of the collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
