The article presents a profile and discusses the work of the Croatian conceptual artist Sanja Iveković. Much of the discussion centers on the political and feminist content of her work, which includes performances and videos. Several of her works are pictured and discussed in detail including the 1974 video "Sweet Violence" and the 1982 performance piece "Practice Makes a Master." The author also comments on the exhibition "Sanja Iveković: Sweet Violence" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
