Resumen de A DENDROID GROWS IN KANSAS CITY.
The article reports on the creation of large sculpture by Roxy Paine in the Kansas City Sculpture Park, Kansas City, Missouri. Working from a drawing and model Paine and his assistants built a 60-foot-tall tree made from stainless steel. A number of issues are addressed including dealing with the logistics of construction of the art piece, "Shuttlecocks," a work by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, and the author's association with the artist.
