  • In this article, the author reflects upon the Asian art scene as of 2015. Particular focus is given to the author's reflections upon what they describe as Asia First, a term that describes efforts to make the East preeminent in the art industry. Additional topics discussed include efforts to expand the visibility of Asian art, the rebuilding of the National Art Museum in Beijing, China, and how the art industry in China relates to the nation's economic growth.
