  • In the article, the author discusses organization of several events by artists independently from gallery systems in Dallas, Texas including Darryl Ratcliff, Arthur Peña, and Kelly Kroener. Topics discussed include the exhibition "Soft Power: Intimacy" organized by Ratcliff at the Zhulong Gallery, collaboration of Ratcliff with artist Fred Villanueva for establishment of Ash Studios, establishment of Vice Palace by Peña, and foundation of the art collective SCAB by Kroener.
