  • The article discusses the art scene in Poland. The author notes that both artists and art critics have become mired in the country's highly polarized and divisive cultural politics. Other topics addressed include: the destruction of artist Julita Wójcik's sculpture "Rainbow" by a group of antigay ultra-nationalists and the exhibition "Guide for the Perplexed: How to Succeed in the New Poland," featuring works by American artist Martha Rosler, on view at the Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw.
