  • The article examines the work of the comic book artist and writer Jack Kirby. Particular focus is given to his work with Marvel Comics. Additional topics discussed include insights on his artistic techniques, the popularity of movies based on comic books, and the exhibition "Comic Book Apocalypse: The Graphic World of Jack Kirby" at California State University in Northridge, California, from August 24th through October 10, 2015.
