  • The article focuses upon alternative comics and to the collective drawing night Dune, which takes place in Seattle, Washington. Additional topics discussed include how Dune culminates in a published zine (independent magazine), insights from Eroyn Franklin, the co-founder of the independent comics festival Short Run, and the community-oriented arts scene in Seattle.
