  • Baraniuk interviews Robin Murphy, director of the Centre for Robot-Assisted Search and Rescue at Texas A&M University in College Station. Murphy tells what motivated her to get into rescue robotics and mentions her approach two decades on. She explains why it's dangerous for refugees to land boats on Greek shores and how a marine robot helps. She also reveals other rescue situations she has attended with robots and technological advancements with rescue robots she's most anticipating.
