Resumen de La imagen del pintor y su taller en las representaciones de San Lucas en los siglos XV y XVI: paralelismos y divergencias con la documentación valenciana de época

El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis de diversas representaciones de San Lucas en el acto de pintar, efectuadas en los siglos XV y XVI, comparándolas con los datos documentales publicados hasta el momento sobre los objetos e instrumentos propios del arte de la pintura, contenidos en los respectivos inventarios post-mortem bienes de pintores afincados en Valencia durante el periodo propuesto. Mediante dicha comparación pueden establecerse analogías, extrayendo algunas conclusiones sobre la realidad material de los talleres en los inicios del Renacimiento y sobre las actividades propias del oficio de pintor.

This paper focuses on the analysis of various representations of St. Luke in the act of painting the Virgin, all of them made along the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
The aim is to compare them with some archive data published to date: specially post- mortem inventories in wich objects and instruments of the art of painting as well as goods are specified among the contents in the respective workshops. All archive data are refered to Valencian artists during the forementioned period. Through this comparison a establishment of analogies is proposed, drawing by the way some conclusions on the material reality of the workshops in the early Renaissance as well as on the activities of the painter's craft.
