Resumen de Figuras retóricas en crónicas futbolísticas y beisboleras

  En el presente estudio nos proponemos determinar las figuras retóricas más frecuentemente empleadas por comentaristas mexicanos en dos crónicas de futbol y otras dos crónicas de béisbol. En este estudio partimos del concepto de crónica deportiva oral como el texto en el que periodistas y especialistas se encargan de exponer a la audiencia de manera casi inmediata los sucesos de un evento deportivo así como de interpretar y evaluar dichos sucesos (Armañanzas, 2008). Así pues, es común que tanto en la narración de los sucesos deportivos como en la evaluación e interpretación de los mismos, los encargados de la crónica produzcan un abanico de figuras retóricas tales como metáforas, metonimias, hipérboles y símiles.

  In this study, our goal is to identify which rhetoric is most commonly used by different Mexican sports commentators by examining two football reports and two baseball reports. In this study, we consider that an oral account is a text where the sports commentators and specialists are responsible for presenting the facts of the game to the audience right away. Moreover, the commentators and the specialists not only report the proceedings, but they also explain events through interpretations and evaluations (Armañanzas, 2008). It is usual that in their narration of the facts and in their interpretations, those responsible for the report produce a variety of rhetorical figures, such as metaphors, metonymies, hyperboles and similes.
