  • The article reports that it is likely impossible to locate a single universe in string theory. The landscape model hoped to reconcile the expanding universe and the tiny cosmological constant. Landscape theory supposed many universes with different cosmological constants in a larger multiuniverse. Scientists have now found it to be mathematically impossible to differentiate a single universe.
