  • The article discusses the use of robotics to create an autonomous lawnmower for consumers. The newest technological developments like the RoboMower, designed by Friendly Robotics in Israel, involve an initial perimeter set-up by humans, after which the electric mowers will start themselves, cut the lawn, recharge automatically, and shut themselves off, all with a simple guide wire system.
