  • The article discusses the importance for state governments in the U.S. to help prevnt suicides as of April 2018. Topics include the increasing number of Americans committing suicide daily, suicide as an epidemic, and the role of mental health professionals and primary care physicians in addressing the crisis. It argues that numerous studies have found that suicidal thoughts can be prevented by certain treatments and early diagnosis.
