  • The article presents the author's views on astronomy, highlighting the sector's focus on expensive space telescopes as of April 2018. The history of astronomy is explored which started seeing amazing discoveries in the mid-20th century including the cosmic microwave radiation. Topics include the high cost of developing telescopes, the construction of the James Webb Space Telescope to be launched in 2019, and outer space exploration projects.
