  • The article discusses how scientists transplant, fertilize and enhance corals to help them adapt to warmer oceans focusing on how to rebuild entire coral reefs. Topics include impact of ocean warming on corals, effects of algae on coral health, and global bleaching events triggered due to global warming. Also discussed is the work done on coral reef conservation by U.S. National Marine Fisheries Service, California Academy of Sciences, and SECORE.
