El presente ensayo investigativo pretende poner en discusión el lugar de Rey en el que es instalado el personaje Max, por un otro y por sí mismo, bajo un panorama percibido como incomprensión del mundo real hacia él. Se presentan dos visiones/interpretaciones diferentes sobre acciones llevadas a cabo por este niño: una de repente orientada a la visión adulto-céntrica, la otra más de ponerse en el sitio de Max y por lo tanto de intentar que se le reconozca de alguna manera lo que sabe hacer y hasta lo que no sabe hacer, pero que intenta. Gran importancia del fantaseo como herramienta para refugiarse.
